Benjamin Patton founded the Patton Veterans Project in 2011. The son of the late Major General George S. Patton IV and grandson of World War II's General George S. Patton, Jr., Ben has been associated with the military all his life.
Prior to founding PVP, he worked in music, television and independent film in New York, both a producer and development executive. Ben earned his BA at Georgetown University and MA in Developmental Psychology at Columbia University.
In 2024, Ben was awarded the Meritorious Public Service Medal, one of the highest commendations that can be awarded by the US Army to a private citizen.
He and his family split their time between New York City and Garrison, NY.

Erica Buerger brings over a decade of experience supporting national security and defense initiatives within the Department of Defense, where she advised senior leaders, built strategic frameworks, and led cross-functional teams to strengthen mission readiness and operational impact. Her career has focused on creating programs and partnerships that empower those who serve to succeed both during and after their military careers.
Erica’s commitment to veterans is deeply personal, inspired by her family’s long tradition of military service and her own experience working alongside service members around the world. She is passionate about fostering connection, purpose, and opportunity for veterans as they transition to new chapters of their lives. Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Doutzen.

David Talamantez is a marketing and strategic communications executive with more than a decade of experience helping organizations clarify their message, strengthen their brand, and deepen their impact. A U.S. Army veteran with extensive experience in the veteran-serving nonprofit sector, he has led national marketing, PR, and digital strategy efforts that supported programs reaching service members, veterans, and families across the country.
David’s approach combines disciplined execution with a practical understanding of how storytelling, positioning, and audience insight shape organizational growth. He has built cross-functional strategies, managed large-scale campaigns, and partnered with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies to elevate mission-driven initiatives. He brings a steady, thoughtful leadership style and believes that clear communication, strong systems, and authentic storytelling are essential to building organizations that scale with integrity and purpose.

Randy Henry is a dedicated veteran with a remarkable 15-year service in the active Army. Throughout his military journey, Randy faced multiple combat situations, demonstrating courage and valor that earned him a Bronze Star in combat with The 1st Cavalry Division, a combined arms division and one of the most decorated combat divisions of the United States Army. he holds a degree in Journalism, complemented by certifications in numerous computer systems and extensive training in graphic arts.

Now residing in Northern Colorado, Randy is actively engaged in supporting fellow veterans, assisting them with posttraumatic stress and other challenges they may face. He is a dedicated husband and loving stepfather to their two energetic 16-year-old twin daughters.

Mike Leeman spent nearly 7 years in the Army as a field artillery Meteorologist, including 12 months in Iraq and in South Korea and Australia in training soldiers in counter IED tactics. He has a BA in Human Services and Associates in Sociology. In addition to his service with PVP, Mike currently works with the Dept. of Veteran Affairs in Loveland, CO as a Certified Peer Support Specialist. He is happily married with two handsome boys. Of his work with fellow vets, Mike says: “It’s a passion not a job and I couldn't be in a better position to help them.

A writer at heart, Robyn’s writing journey began when she was selected in a Netflix writer search, setting her on a path of storytelling.
She has since worked alongside Travis Pomposello on his Creative Agency Accelerator and with sports agency T+W. She remains committed to shaping narratives that move, connect and heal.
